The Certificate in Management and Global Business offers the following concentrations:
The Department of Management and Global Business is home to the disciplines of strategic management, international business, organizational behavior, business ethics, and entrepreneurship. Specific courses include leadership, negotiations, management consulting, leading across cultures, management of innovation and technology, strategic transformations, and mergers, acquisitions and alliances. The advent of globalization and digitization across all industries has given companies immense opportunities for growth but also challenges in how to embrace these forces. The courses on the global business environment, digital strategies and leadership will enable students to be part of the transformation journey of their companies into the digital organizations of the future, while learning the skills to become successful and innovative leaders at the forefront of their fields.
Students enrolled in the rSBI program can earn certificates with designated concentrations (course sets are required) or without a designated concentration (courses are selected by the student).
Courses are taken during the fall and spring semesters. Note that not all courses are offered every semester.
The Certificate in Management and Global Business offers the following concentrations:
The Rutgers Stackable Business Innovation Program Certificate is flexible and does not require the student to complete specific courses under a concentration. Rather, the student can choose any courses from the rSBI catalog and must successfully complete a total of at least 9 credits to earn the certificate. To earn multiple such certificates, the student must successfully complete disjoint sets of courses across certificates (no repeat courses).
