"The Rutgers Center for Marketing Advantage, Advancement, and Action (CM3A) aims to bridge cutting-edge academic research with real-world applications, providing insights, strategies, and solutions that drive marketing advantage and sustainable growth. Through collaboration with industry leaders, nonprofit organizations, academics, government agencies, and stakeholders, CM3A will foster innovation, cultivate future marketing leaders, and advance knowledge for the betterment of business and society.”

Membership Levels

Junior Member - between $500 - $2,500 per year

  • Complimentary subscription to the CMA3 Newsletter.
  • Complimentary participation in one public event organized by the RBS per year  (maximum 5 attendees).
  • Networking with students for hiring and internship opportunities, faculty, and other member-company executives.

Associate Member - between $2,500 - $10,000 per year

  • Complimentary subscription to the CMA3 Newsletter.
  • Complimentary participation in one public event organized by the RBS per year (maximum 10 attendees).
  • One research or consulting project per year (extending one semester).
  • Networking with students for hiring and internship opportunities, faculty and other member-company executives.

Founding Member - $10,000+ per year

  • Automatic membership to the Center's Advisory Board of Directors.
  • Complimentary subscription to the CM3A Newsletter.
  • Complimentary participation in any public event organized by the RBS (maximum 10 attendees per event).
  • One complimentary, dedicated, exclusive in-company workshop per year in cutting-edge topics (additional surcharge if on-campus; time and extension limits apply).
  • One research or consulting project per term (2 per year).
  • Networking with students for hiring and internship opportunities, faculty and other member-company executives

Avni Gujral

Executive Assistant for the Center for Marketing Advantage, Advancement, and Action

Avni Gujral is a graduate student at Rutgers Business School pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing Analytics & Insights. She is the Executive Assistant at CM3A, supporting the center’s strategic initiatives and Annual Operating Plan. Her work includes social media management, event planning, direct outreach, and client interaction to improve academic and industry partnerships for the center.

Before joining Rutgers, Avni earned her Master’s degree in Professional Communication from the University of San Francisco, where she specialized in strategic and digital communication. While in San Francisco, she worked as a Marketing and Communications Associate at Connection Silicon Valley, an innovation consultancy that connects Canadian startups with U.S. tech and venture networks. With over four years of global marketing experience spanning the SaaS, education, and social impact sectors, including roles in India and San Francisco, Avni brings a unique, cross-cultural perspective to brand strategy and storytelling.
