Women BUILD alumni return to campus to celebrate and reflect

Women BUILD alumna Jasmine Clarke and Tenille Grant shared poignant insights during a recent fireside chat event attended by the organization’s alumni and current members.

As snow flurries fell outside the Rutgers Club, Women BUILD hosted its first in-person alumni event in three years. After a short reception, dinner and lots of selfies, Clarke and Grant answered questions posed by current members, Farzeen Iqbal and Gianna Ehrhardt.

Clarke, who graduated from Rutgers Business School in 2020, is now chief of staff at Goldman Sachs. Grant is working as a content marketing manager at J.P. Morgan Chase. She is a 2023 graduate of Rutgers Business School and the Honors Living and Learning Community at Rutgers University-Newark.

The two alums spoke about making career moves, maintaining work-life balance, staying adaptable, and the importance of sustaining relationships. Among the questions they were asked: What was the most important lesson they learned in Women BUILD? They had the same answer: Confidence.
