In addition to the items listed in the Admissions Checklist, you should be aware of these special instructions which apply to your application for admission. Because of the additional documentation required, please start the admissions process as soon as possible and be sure to adhere to all application deadlines.
Transcripts
International applicants should submit original or certified (notarized) copies of all post-secondary transcripts, marksheets, examination results, diplomas and degrees. If not issued in English, a translation must be provided from a professional translation agency. Please mail these documents to our address.
If you already have an advanced degree from the U.S., you will need to submit an official copy of the advanced degree, as well as official transcripts from your bachelor’s degree.
Applicants with international degrees are no longer required to have their educational credentials evaluated. However, RBS reserves the right to request an applicant to have their transcript evaluated by a NACES accredited credentialing agency. Situations where this could happen are if the applicant has a **three year degree or for applicants requesting a GMAT waiver. The RBS Office of Graduate Admissions will reach out to the applicant with this request. For a list of NACES agencies, go to: naces.org/members.htm
**Selected three-year Indian bachelor’s degrees may be considered equivalent to a U.S. bachelor degree without an evaluation as long as they have been earned in Division I/First Class and the awarding institution is currently accredited by India’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a letter grade of “A” or better. Using the above standards will allow you to know if you are eligible to apply to the graduate programs at Rutgers Business School.

If your native language is not English, you must submit test results from either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic).
