Give intellectual property, get invaluable feedback
Because of the real-life, hands-on nature of the Collaboration for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization course experience, it takes a robust inventory of intellectual property (IP) to successfully run the program. In other words, our students need access to unlicensed technologies (for example, platform technologies) they can develop a business and management plan around, with the opportunity to negotiate for a license if they so choose.
But what benefit does this bring to you, the inventor or entrepreneur? You receive high-level feedback, free of charge, on the commercial potential of your intellectual property. The only thing we ask is that while your idea is incubating in our course, you avoid actively promoting it for licensure.
