An entrepreneur turned MBA wants to make impact in new marketing role
As she was completing her Full-Time MBA, Selom Adzamli recalled why she made the decision to attend Rutgers Business School. “I immediately felt like I was part of a community,” she said. “I had done extensive research into MBA programs and had attended many prospective student events over the years, but it was the level of personalization at RBS that I found refreshing."
"At the end of the day," she said, "I truly felt like my presence would be valued on campus.”
Adzamli thrived at Rutgers. She was a stand-out student who took on leadership roles and formed close relationships with classmates and faculty.
After doing a mid-program internship at PepsiCo in New York, she was offered a full-time job as an associate marketing manager.
What surprised Adzamli most about business school? “The time commitment surprised me most,” she said. “After two years, I believe the key to succeeding in business school is learning how to work smart.”
