Beta Gamma Sigma earns "Highest Honors" distinction

The Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter at Rutgers Business School-New Brunswick received another national distinction, earning highest honors for its activities and engagement during the academic year.

The International Business Honor Society recognizes its college chapters on an annual honor roll, recognizing their achievements and member engagement and making them eligible for further recognition, including scholarships and awards.

“These students are a dynamic group,” said Alexandra Charles, assistant dean of special programs and populations. “They are extraordinary. They’re self-motivated. They’re self-sufficient. They’re the best of RBS.”

Michelle Li, the chapter’s former president who graduated in May, said achieving the Highest Honors distinction is “a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire Rutgers Business School 2023-24 BGS Chapter.”

“It reflects our commitment to fostering academic excellence, leadership, and professional growth among our members,” she said.

Li credited the efforts of her E-board – Allana John, Rashmi Kapse, Sailesh Gudipati, Raj Limbachia, Sanjana Yadav, Ria Sharma, Aishwarya Gavanivari as well as advisors Donna Brancato and Dean Charles. “We are proud of this milestone," she said, "and excited for the next 2024-2025 BGS chapter.
