William Russell

Mr. Russell (Bill) is a Principal with Transitioning to Green, LLC, a sustainability consulting and training company. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University where he teaches Green Accounting and Fairleigh Dickinson University where he teaches Managing Sustainability. Bill thrives on helping clients identify and actualize sustainability-aligned strategies and innovation opportunities that interconnect with their core mission and objectives. He formerly led the environmental practice of PwC and was a founding member of initiatives such as the GHG Protocol and The Global Reporting Initiative. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University.
