Dr. Vinay Chandorkar is an Assistant Professor in the Management and Global Business department. He holds a doctorate in business from Rutgers Business School, master's degrees from London Business School and the University of Mumbai, and an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. This diverse educational background allows Vinay to bring a multidisciplinary perspective to his teaching and research.
Before his academic career, Vinay enjoyed a distinguished 30-year tenure in the medical industry, holding several executive positions. He has extensive global experience, having worked in markets across Australia and New Zealand, Japan, India, the U.S., and the U.K. His expertise encompasses general management and functional leadership in marketing and sales.
Vinay's teaching interests are business strategy, organizational behavior, cross-cultural management, and international business. His research is focused on applying emerging technologies like digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), and extended reality (XR) to enhance healthcare delivery globally. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice and mentoring future business leaders, drawing on his decades of industry experience.
