Eric Larson
Assistant Professor of Professional Practice
Eric joined the faculty at RBS following a 32-year career in industry and consulting. Prior to academia, he worked in industry as a manufacturing engineer with General Electric Company and then as a marketing manager with Digital Equipment’s Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Product Development group. For over 20 years he was one of the principal supply chain and enterprise resource planning system strategists and a delivery partner for IBM/PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, working to deliver new processes, systems and organizations for enterprise-wide transformation projects.
Eric’s teaching interests at the undergraduate and graduate level encompass a broad cross-section of supply chain topics,including strategy, supply chain finance, analytics, talent management and client industry consulting projects. He believes that all supply chain graduates need to possess a broad set of tools for developing real-world solutions to industry problems and communicating them succinctly.
Eric is the SCM-MBA Program Coordinator for the full-time MBA program, working closely with industry contacts and students to facilitate summer internships and full-time placement of our supply chain graduates. He coaches the MBA Management Consulting Club and the Supply Chain Student Initiative and provides coaching and development to participants in local and national case competitions.
