The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program is collaborating with 25 colleges and universities across the US to help diversify the CPA profession. Together, these schools and the Deloitte Foundation are providing a limited number of full scholarships (100% of tuition and academic fees will be covered excluding books and living expenses) for selected students interested in pursuing a fifth-year master’s degree in accounting for the 2025–2026 academic year.
In the spirit of strengthening the diversity of the CPA profession, the University shall endeavor to consider a diverse slate of students who meet the recipient eligibility criteria above including students who are from historically under-represented communities or first-generation college students, students who have demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and/or who have faced or appreciate challenges faced by members of demographic groups that are disproportionately under-represented in the field of public accountancy in comparison to the general population.
Interested students who meet the Program’s eligibility criteria below are encouraged to apply to Rutgers Business School's one-year Master of Accountancy in Accounting and Analytics program that runs any time between June 2025 and August 2026 following the University's standard criteria and processes for admission, and then apply separately to be considered for the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program.
