What is a Veteran?

The Rutgers Business School Executive Education team recently spoke with Ken Faria, a Rutgers student veteran, about how a veteran is defined. Ken is an Air Force veteran and Reservist. In 2015, he was part of the very first cohort to take the Rutgers Mini-MBATM: Business Management for Military and Veterans program. While currently interning at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Faria is an engineering major and president of the Rutgers STEM Veterans Society. With so many definitions of a veteran, we asked Ken for his input in this video…and we like his definition.
