Rutgers Business School’s Virtual Lunch & Learn Series presents Rear Adm. (Ret.) Dennis Moynihan to speak about leadership in a way that anyone joining the webinar will gain insights that they can immediately use.
Rear Adm. (Ret.) Dennis Moynihan was the U.S. Navy's Chief of Information (CHINFO) from 2009-2012, serving as principal spokesman for the Department of the Navy and providing strategic communication counsel to the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations. He led the Navy's public affairs community of over 2,500 communication professionals.
Throughout his Navy career, Moynihan served in roles of increased responsibility on land and at sea, including three tours in the Pentagon and on an aircraft carrier. After his time in the Navy, Moynihan spent over a decade in the private sector, joining Hess Corporation and later Quest Diagnostics in leadership and external engagement roles.
He currently serves on the team of ƒ/32 Partners, a collaboration of executives who assist individuals, teams, and organizations in optimizing their performance. Additionally, he facilitates over a dozen online leadership and communication courses available through Cornell University. A resident of the Annapolis, MD, area, he is a non-trustee committee member of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation. In addition, he actively supports transitioning veterans through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Hiring Our Heroes Program.
