Webinar: Lead like a Coach Minus the Whistle
In this Virtual Lunch & Learn Series webinar, Joe Schaffer, previously the associate dean of Executive Education at Rutgers Business School, explains leading individuals and teams like a coach.
In 2008, Google started Project Oxygen to determine what makes a manager great at Google. The very first behavior on that thoughtfully developed, research-based list: being a good coach. This should not be surprising as coaching inspires individuals to maximize their potential and unleash individual creativity, innovation, engagement, and overall performance.
By explicitly attending to the whole person, coaching is a process that will enable you to build stronger and more meaningful relationships with your team - especially during these turbulent and challenging times. During this session, Joe Schaffer will introduce four specific, immediately applicable, evidenced-based coaching actions designed to help you start or rev-up your Lead like a Coach mindset (minus the whistle).
Joe Schaffer is the Founder and President of f/32 Partners, an executive coaching, leadership development, training, and human resources strategy consultancy. He also serves as an executive coach for the Rutgers Business School's Executive MBA (EMBA) program and is an instructor at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst's Hiring our Heroes program.
