RICSI Webinar Series: Climate Justice: Advancing Health Equity in the Face of a Changing Climate
The World Health Organization has declared climate change the single biggest threat to humanity. In this timely webinar, the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation, Rutgers Business School, presents Philip Dahlin, Global Director of Sustainability, Johnson and Johnson, and Kristin Stevens, Director of Climate & Disaster Resilience, Americares, to discuss how they are working proactively to drive positive changes on issues that affect climate change and health equity. We'll explore how to create high-impact strategies and scale workable solutions, especially in communities where health disparities are stark.
"Americares recently launched the Climate Health Equity for Community Clinics Program with a $2 million grant from Johnson & Johnson. The three-year program will strengthen the resilience of over 100 safety net health clinics where climate change disproportionately impacts the health of vulnerable communities."
