Xiaodong Lin
Professor
Professor
Professor Lin’s research focuses on machine learning and data mining, where he develops efficient tools for the structural learning of massive data and flexible methods for understanding complex networks. He also works on data privacy and confidentiality, in particular, decision theoretic frameworks for evaluating risk and utility tradeoffs, and provable secure Ring LWE-based key exchange protocols. Professor Lin is an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
