Freshman

As the new student on campus you are feeling overwhelmed. We believe that it is best for you take your first year to explore the range of activities, student organizations and classes that are offered. Your focus should be maintaining a strong GPA and investigating plethora of opportunities or initiatives that peek your interest. If you feel compelled to get involved, be mindful that your primary focus should be to build a solid academic record. Keep in mind the following check list:

• Purchase a quality business suit in a conservative hue, navy, grey or charcoal. AVOID black
• Prepare your resume
• Maintain a solid GPA, a minimum of 3.0
• Learn more about area companies via on campus presentations
• Attend Exclusive Rutgers Business School Career Fairs and other events
• Attend a variety of Student Organization meetings and see what organizations fit your culture and beliefs
• Get Involved on campus
