Rutgers Business School graduates Class of 2013 in ceremonies marked by sage words, pride and lots of cheers

On a bright and balmy spring afternoon, NJPAC burst full of smiles, embraces, and cheers for Rutgers Business School’s Undergraduate Newark Class of 2013, whose 540 graduates crossed the stage to receive their Rutgers diploma “granting all the rights, privileges and honors appertaining thereto.”

It was the largest class of undergraduate students from Newark in the business school’s 84-year history.

Rutgers students excel in test that measures financial knowledge

Students, faculty and staff gathered on the fourth floor of 1 Washington Park for the unveiling of Rutgers Business School’s newly installed Bloomberg Professional service terminal on February 28. Interim Dean Glen Shafer cut the red ribbon as RBS students who earned top scores worldwide on the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT) were honored.

Largest Quant class ever kicks off fall semester

Rutgers Business School faculty and staff welcomed 56 new students in the Master of Quantitative Finance (MQF) program, an over 100 percent growth in enrollment in 2010, during a packed orientation week in August. Students jetted in and out of lower Manhattan, created glass sculptures with the Rutgers-Newark based Glass Roots, and socialized with alumni and other current students, all while getting their first feel of classwork.
