RBS Student Organizations want YOU!
September 11, 2009
Have you thought of becoming more involved this semester? Further your education outside of the classroom and establish contacts within the business industry by joining one or more of the student organizations at Rutgers Business School. These organizations offer valuable professional development opportunities that will give you a distinct competitive edge as you prepare to begin your career. The clubs aim to prepare students entering the job market, through activities such as workshops in resume-building and resume-writing, preparing for a job interview dressing for the profession, and mock interviews, as well as opportunities to meet representatives from major companies who are invited to speak and answer questions pertaining to today’s job market. “The MBA student organizations are the pulse of the MBA program,” said LaToya Battle-Brown, Assistant Dean and Director of MBA Student Services. “Involvement in the MBA student organizations is important because it enhances their experience at RBS. The students that participate and lead our organizations bring not only social diversity, but also a greater sense of community to our program."RBS STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS:Undergraduate LevelAssociation of Latino Professionals in Finance and AccountingASCEND – Pan-Asian Leaders in Finance and AccountingAssociation of Marketing & StrategyAssociation of Supply Chain ManagersBeta Alpha Psi: Theta Mu ChapterDiverse Business Students AssociationEntrepreneurial SocietyFinancial Management AssociationInvestment Bankers of Rutgers (LIBOR)Management Information Science Association Marketing and Management SocietyManagement OrganizationNational Asian American Society of AccountantsNational Association of Black Accountants Phi Beta Lambda Rutgers Accounting Society Rutgers Business Governing AssociationRutgers Finance Society Toastmasters Graduate LevelBlack and Hispanic MBA AssociationFinance and Investment Club International Students OrganizationPharmaceutical Management ClubRutgers Association of Marketing and StrategyRutgers Women in BusinessStudent Government AssociationSupply Chain Student InitiativeRutgers Business School delivers the business, science, and technology credentials demanded by global employers.
