New seminar series brings experts in knowledge and innovation to Rutgers Business School this fallResearch has consistently highlighted knowledge and innovation as critical drivers of performance and economic growth. The 2010 Knowledge & Innovation Seminar Series, sponsored by The Technology Management Research Center (TMRC) at Rutgers Business School, brings together influential scholars to present research highlighting the interplay of knowledge and innovation. The seminar series runs from September 17, 2009 to February 5, 2010 These researchers come from a variety of domains including: management, economics, communication, strategy, international business, creativity, knowledge management, and technology & innovation management. By sharing research from these diverse perspectives, we hope to enable the cross-fertilization of ideas and the creation of innovative research programs to tackle these important topics. “These are some of the best people in the country in this area, and their seminars are sure to enrich our work at Rutgers in technology and innovation management,” said Dr. George F. Farris, Director of the Technology Management Resource Center.The seminar series is further evidence of Rutgers Business School’s unique focus on business, science, and technology and on a multidisciplinary business education. “I think that part of the opportunity of the seminar series is to showcase our new facility at 1 Washington Park and to encourage collaboration between multiple departments at Rutgers as well as other local universities,” said Robert C.
