RBS faculty and staff donate educational supplies to Ghana

Since the Newark headquarters of Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick is in the process of moving to the new 1 Washington Park this summer, many faculty and staff have been clearing out their offices. Instead of discarding old materials such as textbooks and binders, RBS faculty and staff members have been gathering these supplies to send to Ghana to use in schools. Kwaku Ampadu-Nyarkoh, a recent doctoral graduate has contacts in Ghana and is making the arrangements for this worthwhile endeavor. Faculty and staff have so far gathered at least five dumpster-sized bins of books, journals, and supplies to be sent to Ghana and will soon be making arrangements for shipping these items. Donations for shipping are being collected by Professor Nancy DiTomaso. Any remaining funds collected will be contributed to the RBS scholarship fund.
