Rutgers Beijing EMBA Alumnus nominated for "Entrepreneur of the Year"

Cindy Jensen, Rutgers Beijing EMBA Class of 2009 alumnus, and Founder of Boldmoves China has been nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the upcoming Women in Business Leadership Awards. This year the theme is “faces of leadership”.

Boldmoves China is a boutique consulting firm offering services throughout Asia in the area of Talent Management with an emphasis on Leadership Development, Change Management and Executive Coaching.

Her consultancy also includes working with small to mid-size companies developing organizational performance management and competency frameworks. Cindy has extensive experience working with and advising some of the largest MNCs from North America, Europe and Asia. While in Canada she spent ten years with Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo in a number of senior management positions from HR to Operations and Marketing.

Cindy arrived in Beijing with her family ten years ago from Vancouver, Canada. The attraction that brought them to China remains and she suspects they will be based here for many years to come. Apart from her work, she is also involved in a number of non-profit organizations including VIVA, Educating Girls in Rural China and serves on the Board of the Canada China Business Council as a Special Advisor. Throughout her career Cindy has been an avid mentor with a focus on working with young professional women.

It was recently announced that Cindy has been nominated as ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the upcoming Fourth Annual Women in Business Leadership China Awards ‘Faces of Leadership.'
