Part-time Status

Seniors who require less than 12 credits to graduate entering their final semester are eligible to do so. Such students will then be considered part-time. No paperwork is necessary to do this. Please keep in mind that changing to a part-time status impacts various things, including Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), university housing, honors program status, dining services, financial aid (i.e. scholarships, loans, other funding sources), international student status and medical insurance. Please check the appropriate offices before changing your status to part-time. Seniors who have already registered for 12 credits or above cannot drop below 12 credits without assistance from the Undergraduate Dean’s Office.
