2012 Rutgers Governmental Accounting & Auditing Update Conference

The Annual Rutgers Governmental Accounting and Update Conference is held each December and is attended by government auditors, accountants and financial professionals. The purpose of the conference is to bring leaders in public financial management to address the most pressing issues and provide an update on current regulations, accounting pronouncements, auditing issues and other subjects of interest. The conference is attended by approximately 150 individuals and also provides continuing education credits to Certified Public Accountants, Registered Municipal Accountants and other licensed professionals. Speakers have included the NJ State Treasurer, the NJ State Auditor, the NJ State Comptroller and officials from the Government Accounting Standards Board and representatives from the various NJ regulatory agencies.
