Gordon Bajnai
Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Hungary
Gordon Bajnai was prime minister of Hungary from 2009 to 2010 at a time of extraordinary political and economic crisis. Currently, he serves as the founder of the Haza és Haladás Foundation, a non-partisan public policy research organization in Hungary. His perspective on the politics of the eurozone and the European Union is informed by a remarkable career in the public and private sectors. Rutgers Center for European Studies and The Institute for Hungarian Studies are pleased to invite him to speak with faculty and students in a wide-ranging conversation about the economic and political challenges facing the eurozone.
