The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (CUEED) and the Profeta Urban Investment Fund are hosting a celebration and want you to be a part of it. You are invited to the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Cravings Restaurant at the corner of Linden and Halsey streets on Friday, October 29, 2010 starting at 4:30 p.m. We are closing the street, putting up a tent and serving delicious free food and beverages for a real Rutgers shindig.

Cravings Restaurant is the brainchild of Marisa Blackwell, an incredible chef whose food has to be tasted to be believed. Her launch has been aided by Rutgers Business School’s Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development and the Profeta Urban Investment Foundation.

We are inviting all Rutgers alumni, faculty, staff, and students on the Newark campus, and our friends and neighbors in the Newark area. This is a project that your school has spearheaded and played an enormously vital role in getting off the ground.
