Dan Lynn Cofounder and Co-CEO, DigitalGrit, Inc. |
I have wanted to own my own business for as long as I can remember. While my entrepreneurial drive never faltered, I took a traditional corporate path to gain a deeper understanding of business, and worked in a variety of key roles before I was ready to take the next step. During that time I decided to pursue an EMBA at Rutgers. I knew how important MBA skills and credentials would be when I finally ventured out on my own.
I was right—I use the lessons learned during the program every day. Yet the single most valuable thing I learned during the Rutgers EMBA program is that there are no right answers to most strategic business decisions. As long as you use good business instincts, make fact-based decisions, and execute with excellence, your decision is as good as anyone else’s.
Armed with the tools I needed to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams, I cofounded DigitalGrit, a leading interactive marketing agency that helps corporations more effectively use the Internet to drive improved business results. We have an amazing culture of hard work, innovation, and hitting home runs for our clients.
Since the very first day, we have had a never-ending commitment to being the best. And, if you really want to be the best, you’ve got to strive to be the best right from the start. That’s just our mindset.
You combine that energy with the broad-based skills, confidence, and relationships developed at the EMBA program, and it is a clear formula for success.
