Rutgers JD/ MBA Program
Rutgers Business School and Rutgers School of Law jointly offer the Juris Doctor/Masters of Business Administration program on the Newark, New Jersey campus. The Rutgers JD/MBA program offers students legal and business perspectives in such fields as finance, corporate practice, taxation, international, and other related fields.
Because each school within Rutgers recognizes up to 12 credits offered by the other, students are able to earn both a JD and an MBA in just four years -- one year less than it would take to earn them individually. Generally, dual degree candidates take the required JD curriculum in the first academic year and the full-time MBA core curriculum in the second academic year. During the third and fourth academic year, candidates take a combination of both disciplines. View the full curriculum for the JD/MBA program for more information.
Prospective students must meet the admissions requirements of both schools in order to be eligible for the program, and should apply simultaneously and independently to both schools. Learn more about admission to the program, or request a brochure.
