Description:
Professor Newburry's research interests are primarily in the area international business strategy, with emphases on: 1) Impacts of globalization on organizational attractiveness 2)Interoffice communication and shared perceptions within multinational subsidiaries, 3) Collaboration in international environmental management, and 4) Autonomy and control issues in international joint venture management. He has published articles in the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of International Management, Journal of Management Studies, Management International Review, the Journal of World Business, International Business Review, the International Journal of Human Resource Management (forthcoming), the Journal of Third World Studies, and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings.
