Senator Booker hosting Models to Improve Access to Capital Summit

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) in partnership with Rutgers Business School will host the New Models to Improve Access to Capital Summit on Friday, June 13 in Newark. The summit, will convene CEOs and other executives from market leaders in peer to peer lending and microfinance in a roundtable discussion on how new lending models improve efficiency, lower costs, and make capital more accessible to communities and small businesses cut off from credit after the financial crisis. More ›

Pre-college enrichment program gives high school students a sense of college requirements, potential business careers

For Olivia Gonzalez and other students like Jessica Dufort, the experience not only gave them some insight into what they will be expected to do as college students, it opened their eyes to the prospect of attending business school and possible career paths. "I think I might like to go into advertising or marketing,” said Dufort, who attends high school in Jersey City. "I can be really creative, and I would like to be able to apply it.
